Hi, I'm Alex, I've been around on the internet as "digitalpardoe" for a while, so you'll probably find abandoned profiles everywhere, but for now, I'm only active on Mastodon, Glass and Bluesky.

I'm a Cheltenham-based software engineer, disillusioned with the tech industry, wishing I'd done more with photography instead (although I'm not sure that would feel much better at the moment, thanks AI).

It’s been at least four years since I've had any sort of space on the internet, so this website is my attempt to have a space online that I own again - this time though, it'll be focussed more on photography rather than tech.

Why Erratic?

I rarely have a plan for what I'm going to take photographs of, I rarely have a project to complete, and my style of editing mostly revolves around how I'm feeling at the time - hence the erratic, meandering work you'll see on this website.
